She is a chartered manager and is keen improve services for vulnerable people and thrives on working in partnership to change provision available for individuals for the better.

Dr Pat Frankish – Consultant Clinical Psychologist

Dr Pat Frankish obtained B.Sc(Hons) in Psychology and B.A (Open) in Humanities and Psychology before undertaking training in teaching children with severe learning difficulties and then a masters in Clinical Psychology. She has wide experience of psychological issues across age groups. She has a specialist interest in early personality development and the consequences of disturbance through traumatic life events.

She is an active member of the British Psychological Society and was Chair of the Division of Clinical Psychology 1993-1995 and President of the Society 1999-2000. Her work with early emotional development in people with learning disabilities is published and presented to international audiences.

Alic Bowen – Chartered Counselling Psychologist

Alic Bowen is a Consultant Counselling Psychologist with many years experience in a variety of settings including the voluntary and statutory sectors. Alic is chartered by the British Psychological Society and holds membership of the Division of Counselling Psychology, the Special Group in Coaching Psychology and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Alic has a keen interest in severe and enduring mental health issues and in learning disability services. Her work with individual clients has also included issues concerning pain management, post traumatic stress, addiction, sexual abuse, and working with both survivors and perpetrators of domestic violence. She is keen to offer support and psychological therapies for those living with mental health and disability, and to engage in support and training for those working within the sector. Her main focus is on helping individuals to achieve their fullest potential.

Dr. Jo Lilley – Consultant Clinical Psychologist

Dr Jo Lilley is a Chartered Consultant Clinical Psychologist. She holds degrees in Psychology (BSc. Hons.) from Goldsmiths College, University of London, and in Clinical Psychology (ClinPsychD) from the University of Surrey. She has practiced in the field of learning disability and is experienced in providing psychotherapy to people with learning disabilities and providing consultation to teams.

She has an interest in developing therapeutic environments for individuals with learning disabilities and/or mental health issues. She has experience in medico-legal reporting and mental capacity assessment.

She also has a wide range of experience in other settings, including forensic and low secure settings, adult and older adult mental health, child and adolescent services, and pain management. She has training in and experience of being an expert witness. She is chartered by the British Psychological Society and also a member of the Division of Clinical Psychology and the Qualitative Methods in Psychology section.

Liz Trubshaw – Australian-trained Clinical Psychologist

Liz Trubshaw is an Australian-trained Clinical Psychologist. She holds Masters Degrees in Clinical Psychology and in Counselling from the University of South Australia. She has Conditional Registration with the British Psychological Society and is completing a Statement of Equivalence with them in order to be granted Chartered status.

She has 5-years experience of working with individuals in a wide range of settings including child and adult mental health, brain injury, physical and intellectual disability, rehabilitation, and oncology. A large part of her role involves psychological and neuropsychological assessments and therapy of clients following traffic accidents or work-related injuries. She also works with people living with enduring mental illnesses and is involved in the training and support of carers working in this environment.
